Steer Wrestling & Hazing Horses

Trevor grew up in southwestern Louisiana and was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time Bulldogging with Mr. Billy Duhon, father of three time world champion Steve Duhon. Billy was a great horseman and an exceptional judge of equine talent.

During his high school career he was a Louisiana State Champion Steer Wrestler and 2X Top 10 finisher at the National High School Finals Rodeo.

Duhon went on to Rodeo for McNeese State University, winning the Southern Region 3X enroute to qualifying for the College National Finals.

After joining the PRCA in 2003, Trevor won Lake Charles, LA at his first ever pro rodeo.  He did so aboard the one and only Bad Motor Scooter, aka “Scooter”, owned by Jimmy Powers. Duhon traveled with Mr. Jimmy for several years learning the ins and outs of managing a successful bull dogging team before getting in the rig with KC Jones.

These men and their amazing horse power have truly helped form Trevor’s horse program.

Duhon now lives in Phoenix, AZ with his wife Jenna and their two children, Ava Lee and Briggs.
